What did you do or consider doing before entering the community?
I was a Music Education Major at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.  During my college years I began to discern a vocation to the Diocesan Priesthood, In the summer of 1972 I brought a friend to Loretto, PA to visit the Franciscan, TOR community.  At that time, we stayed at Saint Francis Seminary.  I was impressed by the way the Friars celebrated the liturgy especially with music.  I felt at “home”.  I returned to Philadelphia and knew this was the community I wanted to join.

What drew you to the TOR friars?
I loved the diversity of ministries and spirituality, while faithful to the Catholic Church and rooted brotherhood and united through St. Francis of Assisi
