TOR Postulants

Just before he died on October 3rd, Francis stretched out his arms over his brothers in the form of a CROSS and blessed them in the power, and in the name of their crucified Lord. Then he told them, “I have done what was mine to do; may Christ teach you what is yours.”

Blessed be your name, O Lord,
you are the fount and source of every blessing,
and you look with delight
upon the devout practices of the faithful.
Draw near, we pray, to these your servants
and, as they wear this symbol of their faith and devotion,
grant that they may also strive to be transformed
into the likeness of Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you for ever and ever.  Amen

Receive this Tau cross as a sign of your desire to follow in the footsteps of Saint Francis and during this postulant year may your Christian lives give witness to what this Tau Cross represents.
